Johanna Boynton

Johanna Boynton has been a dedicated member of the Concord, Massachusetts community for many years, raising four children with her husband, John - a Concord native and Concord-Carlisle High School graduate. Their entire family has been deeply engaged in the life of the town, with all four children attending Concord’s public schools. Johanna’s commitment to local education is reflected in her six years of service on the Concord-Carlisle Regional School Committee, including as Chair, where she worked to enhance the quality and inclusivity of the schools that have shaped her family and neighbors.
Throughout her decades in Concord, Johanna has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to community service and leadership. She founded Boynton Brennan Builders, a Concord-based residential construction company, and has served on the boards of the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary while supporting and volunteering time to the Concord Carlisle Foundation (formerly Concord-Carlisle Community Chest), the Concord Education Fund, Open Table, Household Goods, the Umbrella and many community initiatives that enrich the lives of local residents. In addition to her professional and volunteer work in Concord, Johanna has contributed to the broader educational and athletic community as a teacher and coach at Middlesex School, as current President of the Harvard Varsity Club, Co-Chair of Friends of Harvard Hockey, and as an owner and governor of the Premier Hockey Federation. Her ongoing involvement reflects a lifelong commitment to strengthening and giving back to the community she and her family are proud to call home.
