Georgia Swanson

Born and raised in New York, Georgia is a young potter who recently moved to Boston. She has been teaching pottery for 8 years and loves every part of ceramics. Her work focuses on functional forms thrown on the wheel, but her passion for ceramics began in the world of handbuilding.

What she loves most about teaching ceramics is that it is an incredible way to learn life skills like attention to detail, patience, time management, and most importantly the art of letting go. She believes that there is beauty in the parts of the pottery process that we cannot control and that one of the many joys of being a potter is learning how to adapt.
