Douglas Folsom

Douglas Folsom is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter specializing in inspirational, character-driven family dramas with elements of romance and magical realism. His screenplays The Return of the Santa Fe Super Chief and Over the Monster have been optioned and recognized by Nicholl (Top 10%) and PAGE (Semi-Finalist). A former pastor and NYU graduate, Douglas brings themes of redemption, hope, and second chances to all of his work. He's taught screenwriting at Stevenson University in Maryland and for Lexington Community Education.
