I am an author, multimedia artist, and professor of English literature at Stonehill College in Easton, MA, where I also direct the Digital Humanities Program. My fiction and critical writing have appeared in numerous journals in North America, Latin America, Europe, and South Asia, including Gulf Coast, The Missouri Review, Quiddity, The Write Launch, New Limestone Review, and Cagibi. I’m grateful to have been a 2021 Pushcart Prize nominee (for “This Is How We Walk on the Moon”) and to have been the recipient of a Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing Fellowship and the state of Rhode Island Robert and Margaret MacColl Johnson Fellowship.  I also love to do work in the visual and performing arts and my solo and collaborative installations and multimedia dance performances (to be clear: I’m not the one dancing, even if I wish I were!) have been exhibited and/or performed at The Institute of Contemporary Arts, Boston, Cheim and Read Gallery in New York, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and the Carole Calo Gallery in Easton, MA. I live with my wife and two daughters here in Concord.
