Please prepare a short musical selection (1 minute or less) in the style of the show.

SEEKING
AEA Actor/Singers for the roles of Wilbur, Inez and Seaweed as well as several ensemble tracks. All other roles are filled at this time.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Seaweed J. Stubbs - Tracy’s classmate and friend, who is discriminated against due to his skin color. He is cocky but surprisingly lovable. Talented in song and dance. He falls for Penny. Seaweed should be played by a Black performer. Age: 15 to 20. Vocal range top: D5. Vocal range bottom: F3
Little Inez - Seaweed’s little sister. Little Inez should be played by a Black performer.
Wilbur Turnblad - Tracy’s simpleminded and kind father. He owns a joke shop and supports his daughter in spite of everything else. He also loves his wife, Edna, very much. This role should be played by a white performer. NOTE - Masculine presenting Nonbinary and TGNC actors are encouraged to inquire. Age: 55 to 65. Vocal range top: A5. Vocal range bottom: A3
Ensemble - Actor, singer, dancers of various ages to play a wide range of characters.

Please prepare a contemporary American monologue no more than 1 minute in length, preferable with a southern American accent.

Youth performers for several roles, as well as non-AEA candidates for the role of Bob Ewell. All other roles are filled at this time.

Bob Ewell: White. Mayella’s father, approximately 40-50
Scout: Atticus’s young daughter, to play between the ages of 9-12
Jem: Atticus’s son, a few years older than his sister Scout, to play between the ages of 10-14
Dill: Scout’s and Jem’s friend from the neighborhood, to play between the ages of 9-13
