The John Mayer concert combines the love of his music and the admiration for his philanthropy. John Mayer has called Park County, Montana home for over a decade. His philanthropic support of this community has been a constant, as seen through his support of the 2012 Pine Creek Fire and the 2020 COVID-19 response. In 2022, historic flooding along the Yellowstone River hit communities in Park County; John was quick to support his community once again. In partnership with Park County Community Foundation and Pine Creek Lodge, John and his team produced "Rise for the River," a series of three benefit concerts including special guests Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and comedian Dave Chappelle. In addition to attracting much-needed economic activity to the area, the shows raised over $1.2 million for the SW Montana Flood Relief Fund to support residents impacted by the flood. We invited John to The Umbrella because of his musical talent and his community activism. We are excited and honored to have him perform in Concord and admire his work off-stage.
