FALL YOUTH: Early Release Handbuilding (Ages 5-8) (Wednesdays)

Course Description:
Explore different hand building ceramics projects and learn to work with pinch pots, slabs, and coils and to create your own functional ceramic pieces, as well as ceramic sculptures. We will gather inspiration from ceramic traditions from across the globe as we form our own collection of creations.

Instructor: Nayda Cuevas

Nayda A. Cuevas was born in Puerto Rico. She obtained a BFA in Fine Art (2002) from Stetson University in Deland FL and her MFA in Visual Arts (2015) at Lesley College of Art (Former Art Institute of Boston) in Cambridge, MA.
