2/5 Update on Summer Camp Registration Re-opening

Dear parents and caregivers,

We’re happy to bring you an update about how our summer camp registration process will continue when it re-opens on Monday, February 9.

 

We have partnered to create a registration waiting room with the service Queue-It, which is used by major brands like Ticketmaster, Nike, The North Face and more. This virtual lobby should manage our web traffic to facilitate a smooth, fair registration process.

 

The waiting room will open 30 minutes before registration begins. Our waiting room will randomize the queue order of anyone logged in between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM, so anytime during that window, you should…

  1. Navigate to the Summer Camp registration page on a computer, then click the “Enter Here to Register” button.

  2. In the upper left-hand corner of the page, click “Log in” to your Umbrella account. (Note: It is not to your advantage to login earlier than 11:30 AM, as users will not be placed in the queue until after that time.)

  3. At noon, you will be automatically transitioned into the actual line to register. When it’s your turn, if camp placements are available, add them to your cart and proceed to purchase.

We hope that the waiting room’s on-screen messages and tips will make this process intuitive. We will also update our website and registration guides with screenshots and information shortly. If you have any questions, please reply to this email!

1/30 Update on Summer Camp Registration

Dear Parents and Families,
Thank you for your interest in and your patience with the summer camp registration process that began this week. Our staff has now made contact with all of the families that we knew to be affected by Tuesday's 1:00 PM webpage outages based on the emails and calls we received before 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28. If you contacted us after that time, please stand by and we will reply as soon as we are able.

Camp registration remains paused for the moment, and there are full- and half-day Umbrella summer camp spots still available; these may be booked via the online registration process as originally planned. (Please note: Performing Arts Session 2 and 3 as well as all sessions of Arts & REC camps that registered Tuesday starting at 12:00 PM are already sold out.)

We will re-open registration on February 9 at 12:00 PM. This information will be made available on our social media and website, where our FAQ page and registration guide has also been updated.
