Sarah Fagan's Second Community Presentation

This March, The Umbrella's 2015-2016 Artist-in-Residence Sarah Fagan will give her second of three community presentations. Along with sharing works in progress, the topic of the evening will be the use of archiving, taxonomy, and scientific methodology in contemporary art. 

Accompanying the event will be an introduction to an art installation about collections for which Sarah invites the participation of the community. Throughout the spring, she will be gathering actual glass jars and other vessels, while asking volunteers to "fill" provided prints of jars with any 2-D medium or imagery.
