This spring The Umbrella is offering a slate of six woodworking workshops that emphasize creativity and provide an opportunity to develop skills for participants of all levels of experience. Class sizes are small – between three to six students maximum – allowing plenty of time for individual instruction and observation.

On Sunday, March 24, 10:00am - 4:00pm, The Umbrella Ceramics Studio is proud to present a special full-day workshop with internationally renowned ceramic artist Li Hongwei, in association with Pucker Gallery at 240 Newbury Street in Boston, which will host the exhiibtion Li Hongwei: Master of Innovation from March 23-May 5, 2024.

From September 9-24, 2022, The Umbrella Arts Center is proud to host a series of immersive, family friendly arts experiences celebrating the 30th anniversary of Barefoot Books, the Concord-based, global multicultural children's book publisher.

Master class ceramics artist and teacher Ben Eberle will lead a two-day workshop at The Umbrella Arts Center this weekend. In doing so he is returning to the place that literally shaped his life and career back when he threw his first pot in an Umbrella art studio as a young teen.

Winter is here, and so is the new Arts Education program classes and workshops session! We're proud to offer new and returning classes in Ceramics, Drawing, Fiber Arts, Painting, Digital Arts, Film, Mixed Media, Creative Mindfulness, Glass, and more.

Bring your notebooks, sketchbooks, and pencils, because The Umbrella Arts & Environment program is hosting two new workshops in November! These outdoor workshops will encourage students and families to explore and interact with nature in a creative way.
