Eleonora Lecei Halstead

Eleonora Lecei Halstead first began teaching at the Umbrella in 2002.  She enjoys teaching drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media and ceramics to both children and adults.  She received a BA degree in Studio Art from Marymount Manhattan College and an MFA in Visual Studies from Lesley University.  Her ceramic sculpture work is currently on view at the Clark Gallery in Lincoln, MA and the Stray Cat Gallery in Bethel, NY.   Her studio is in an old barn from the 1700's situated on a 40 acre farm in the hills of Fitchburg.  She enjoys watching her son grow up surrounded by nature, music and art.
