Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training

Anastasia is a homesteader, teacher and musician living on the Big Sur coast, and is excited to be a part of Wild Child Art Doors! She was raised in a Dutch/Ukrainian farming family in the coastal town of Carpinteria, California, and spent a decade studying, teaching, and playing music in San Francisco. Anastasia earned her BA in both Environmental Studies and Spanish at the University of San Francisco and was inspired by the urban farming and school garden movement.  For five years she taught gardening at both a public school and the San Francisco Waldorf School. In 2018 she graduated from the Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training. When Anastasia isn’t teaching 1st graders at the Monterey Bay Charter School, you can find her painting, gardening, surfing, writing songs, or hiking the local trails.
