SPRING YOUTH: Wheel Throwing (Ages 8-12) (Tuesdays)

Course Description:     
For students with beginner & intermediate potter's wheel experience. In this class students will continue to learn how to use the a potter's wheel. Students will learn how to design different forms of functional pottery and explore adding hand-built items to wheel thrown vessels.

Instructor: Kathryn Kim
Kathryn Kim is a ceramic artist, photographer, and teacher for more than 10 years to children and adults.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Anderson University in South Carolina. She went on to teach middle school art at Imago, a local private school, and started teaching at the Emerson Umbrella in 2015.
