Thursday Afternoon Drop-In Art and Nature Play

Stop by the Musketaquid Room–or weather permitting, conservation areas–Thursday afternoons to create and play with seasonal art activities. All ages welcome. Weekly activity calendar will be posted on the Umbrella Arts & Environment Facebook page and Instagram account. Winter activities include: weaving, beading, knitting, animal tracking, tiny houses, snowflake mobiles, dioramas; and snow/ice sculptures. 
(Children ages 2-4 years must be accompanied by an adult; children ages 5 - 10 may be dropped off)

Nancy Lippe, a Colorado native, is passionate about the outdoors, creativity, and engaging people in their communities. She recently moved to Concord after 18 years in Los Altos, California, where she worked as program officer for a local community foundation. There, she ran community outreach programs, focusing on conflict resolution, youth philanthropy, and college access/perseverance for first generation college students. She...
