Seeking Poetry on Theme "Embracing Diversity in a Climate of Change"

The Umbrella Arts & Environment Program invites public-contributed short-short (seven-word) poems that respond to our 2019 Earth Month theme, "Embracing Diversity in a Climate of Change". Submitted poems will be incorporated into The Umbrella's Musketaquid Earth Month Exhibition, on display at The Umbrella Visual Arts Gallery, 40 Stow Street, Concord, from April 17-May 14.

Poems may be submitted online throughout Poetry Month, on-site during the April 27 Earth Day Parade & Festival in Concord, or at The Umbrella Visual Arts Gallery throughout the exhibition.

This year's poetry challenge was devised to extend The Umbrella's expansive, annual Musketaquid Earth Month programming, in recognition of the concurrent National Poetry Month, and offered in association with ArtWeek (April 26-May 5), an annual festival featuring hundreds of hands-on, interactive, or behind-the-scenes creative arts activities statewide.
