NOURISH: A celebration of local food and art

Inspired by over 3,000 people who attended the BIG Tiny House Festival presented by Miranda’s Hearth last summer, The Umbrella Community Arts Center is hosting their second summer arts festival from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm on July 15, 2017. This year, The Umbrella is collaborating with The Greater Boston Food Bank to host NOURISH: A celebration of local food and art. As an art-filled building in a farm-filled town, The Umbrella is creating a space to celebrate how both art and food build community.

This day-long, family-friendly festival will highlight local farmers, artists, restaurants, food and art based initiatives. Throughout the day, attendees will be invited to engage directly with local farmers, food producers, and artists in order to learn their stories and raise awareness about food and art in the vibrant Concord community.

The Greater Boston Food Bank, which supports Concord Open Table in addition to several other local food pantries, will coordinate activities for kids that spread awareness about healthy food and initiatives to end hunger. There will be music, tasting, art activities, and more. Mark your calendars now! Tickets for the festival are $5 for individuals or $10 for a family. All proceeds go towards The Greater Boston Food Bank and The Umbrella Community Arts Center.

Share your work at NOURISH: A celebration of local food and art at The Umbrella Community Arts Center, Concord, MA on July 15, 2017 from 11:00 am-4:00 pm.

In particular, we’re looking for businesses or artists that focus on one or more of the following:
