The ArtTalk series brings presentations about visual art to The Umbrella that spark insightful conversations and rich contemplation. Tickets to all of The Umbrella's ArtTalks are $10 for the general public and $7 for resident artists.

About the panelists:

• Helen Halloran, a recognized expert florist, has owned Concord Flower Shop for 30 years. Helen greatly enjoys helping customers, brides and corporate clients and is happily kept busy with event planning, running the workshops, designing bouquets and managing all the countless things that keep a local, independent floral shop running smoothly. Helen is a Concord native who raised her two daughters in Acton, MA. Her favorite flowers include Lilac, Lily of the Valley and Lisianthus.
• Anne Sarno-McIlwrath's goal is to exceed her customers' expectations with quality, value and professional service. Anne is an FTD Master designer and also an Advanced Tropical Designer. Her shop, Cricket's Flowers, provies exquisite, elegant arrangements with distinctive flowers! Flowers speak when words fail.
• Bonnie Heiligmann from The Art of Flowers by Bonnie has a full service flower shop in Bedford Ma that is now in its 10th year! The shop specializes in, but is not limited to, wedding design. Bonnie holds a master designers certification from FTD. She has a vast knowledge of the care and handling of cut flowers, indoor/outdoor plants, container gardening, and organic gardening that she gained from 20 years of employment at Lexington Gardens where she was lead designer and manager of the flower shop. Her favorite designs to create are the popular tight cluster look, open wild and airy (leave room for the butterflies)... and everything in between!
